DESCRIPTION:In partnership with Detroit PAL, the Drone Apprenticeship Program ( https://www.sayplay.org/programs/drone-apprenticeship-program/ ) is a 16-week introductory program geared to expose students (ages 14-18) on how drones are used in the following industries:\n\nConstruction\nCinematography\nMapping\nEmergency Preparedness.\n\nStudents can also earn the following certifications:\n\nOSHA 10\nBlueprint Reading\nLean Six Sigma (white belt)\nRecreational UAS Drone Safety Test\n“Scratch Programming Language”\n\n \nHeaded by Coach Bing, this program will meet on Saturdays at The Corner Ballpark. Qualified and eligible participants will be prepared for summer employment opportunities.\nSAY Detroit BONUS: SAY Play members who wish to participate in the Drone Apprenticeship Program will be able to have extra learning sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays (at SAY Play) AND will have their $50 registration fee waived.\n \n
