All registered FIRST LEGO League teams in Michigan are eligible to compete in only one Michigan qualifying event.

Mask Policy
FIRST in Michigan fall season events for the FIRST LEGO League Explore, FIRST LEGO League Challenge, and FIRST Tech Challenge programs will require that masks are worn by all persons while in the event venue for the duration of the event (including event set up and tear down). The addition of a mask requirement at our FIRST in Michigan fall season events will allow the events to remain accessible to the greatest number of people, most importantly, our student team members, their coaches and mentors. and our volunteers.
Local Safety Protocols
All traditional (physical) events this season will be adhering to their local area governance regarding COVID-19 safety protocols such as wearing masks, temperature checks, gathering size constraints, etc. as applicable. Respecting and observing these additional event safety protocols will allow us to come together. They are in line with our usual safety protocols at FIRST events. We do these things to keep ourselves and each other safe. It is Gracious Professionalism in its truest form. For those that prefer not to follow the requirements necessary to be on-site at a physical event, teams have the option to participate in a remote event.
