In a previous email, we let you know of the exciting and new programs that will be coming to SAY Detroit Play Center.
We’d like to introduce the Drone Apprenticeship Program!
- This 16-week introductory program is geared to expose students (ages 14-18 years old) on how drones are used in the following industries: Construction, Cinematography, Mapping, and Emergency Preparedness.
- Students can also earn the following certifications: OSHA 10, Blueprint Reading, Lean Six Sigma (white belt), Recreational UAS Drone Safety Test, and “Scratch Programming Language”.
- Headed by Coach Bing, this program will meet every Tuesday and Thursday – with Saturday teachings also being offered to help prepare for summer employment for qualified & eligible applicants.
