Drone Apprenticeship Program – SAY Play BONUS
In partnership with Detroit PAL, the Drone Apprenticeship Program is a 16-week introductory program geared to expose students (ages 14-18) on how drones are used in the following industries:
- Construction
- Cinematography
- Mapping
- Emergency Preparedness.
Students can also earn the following certifications:
- OSHA 10
- Blueprint Reading
- Lean Six Sigma (white belt)
- Recreational UAS Drone Safety Test
- “Scratch Programming Language”
Headed by Coach Bing, this program will meet on Saturdays at The Corner Ballpark. Qualified and eligible participants will be prepared for summer employment opportunities.
SAY Detroit BONUS: SAY Play members who wish to participate in the Drone Apprenticeship Program will be able to have extra learning sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays (at SAY Play) AND will have their $50 registration fee waived.
