Robots and SATs and Learning, Oh My!

Mar 15, 2017 | News + Updates | 0 comments

At today’s KFC (Knowledge for College) session, students played an S.A.T. version of money ball, during which our instructor connected (SMALL) monetary prizes (of his donation) with correct answers in their S.A.T. prep . The lesson here today was to show how investing in their college entrance exams–and preparing properly for them–will help them earn admission to strong universities and better increase their chances of winning scholarships.

High schoolers receive free college coaching and S.A.T. prep sessions every Monday and Wednesday at S.A.Y. Detroit Play Center.

Mondays and Wednesdays are also practice days for our FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge) teams. Check out their robot building in the Lego Lounge
