Wrapping Our World in a Bow and Holiday Cheer

The week leading up to the holidays saw the SAY Play Center decorated and filled with holiday cheer just in time for the annual holiday showcase.

Cooper-Standard Automotive kicked off their Science in the DEEP programing with a holiday STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) party featuring experiments, pencil catapults, marshmallow snowmen, snow globes and of course, Christmas cookies!

On December 21st, the “Someday at Christmas” holiday showcase featured essays from the Capturing Belief project, where students shared their 3 wishes for Detroit along with photos taken while exploring the city —

and a dance team finale —
